Hello, I wanted to inform you of my disappointment in watching the Indiana Jones trilogy because the effects of movement are very rare and in addition to very low amplitude!! What a shame for this type of film full of action!!

That’s the problem with all old codes.
there are hardly any effects in contrast to new films, where fireworks are fired.
I think it depends more on who coded the movie with the moves! because there are many other films from the same era, like star wars, which for my part are much better coded with more effects and greater amplitudes of movement
Hey! We have coding standards in the team of designer so it would not depend on who coded it. Each codes are reviewed by a the team over quality control sessions to ensure they meet the standards.
Luckily, our methods improved a lot in the past years which increased the movement and contrast in the codes. That is maybe why you noticed a difference between movies that have been coded 20 years ago and the more recent ones.
Thank you for your answer but some films as old are coded with many more movements.
Could you give some examples so we would be able to share the feedback and look at the differences? We always like to improve our processes.
Like the old James Bond movies. You’re almost launched of your seat so violent LOL. #toomuch
James Bond are old movies but the codes are new.
in the past, only a few effects were mixed in, today you are right in the middle of it.
Correct. Some of the really old (1950-1970) were coded after 2010, with a more recent technology and process. Movies like Casino Royale (2006) or Die Another Day (2002) were coded at the time they have been released for theaters. If you want to know when a movie what coded, you can look in the catalogue
This proves that we improved a lot through the years and we aim the same for the future.
wouldn’t it be possible to revise indiana jones’ codes. I think many home cinema fans will watch the films again before the new part. I for my part planned that. But I’ve also noticed that some older films can’t keep up with current codes. as an example Gladiator, would be different from the code nowadays, I think !
I will asked the team for Indiana Jones. We have so many hands we can get to create content. Do you prefer we re-code old movies or create code for new movies and series coming out?
As a rule, I prefer new films and series, but there are real classics that you can watch again and again.
Indiana Jones would of course be good if a new part came out because many would then start again with part 1.
I would prefer new codes for current films.if only there was one or the other.
